BRIEF: Tuscaloosa man sentenced to 30 years for rape conviction

Sept. 26--A Tuscaloosa man found guilty of raping a 17-year-old with cerebral palsy has been sentenced to serve 30 years in prison.
Willie Joe Minor, 46, was charged with first-degree rape in 2015. A jury found him guilty of second-degree rape after a trial held in August.
Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court Judge James Roberts sentenced Minor to 30 years in prison at a hearing held Wednesday morning. He will not be eligible for probation, according to court records.
